If you are a basic computer user, it is likely that you have already used some form of cloud computing service.Any entirely online service we use,be it a e-mail,file storage or sharing ,even media streaming uses cloud computin technology. If you have used any service that doesny require you to download and install a specific software or store any data locally,we have used cloud.
One of the important things that enterprises are looking for from the Cloud is the availability of Software as a Service to perform their business processes, so that business can concentrate on their core strengths, and not on building and maintaining software that perform repetitive tasks across the industry verticals.
Cloud computing refers to the on-demand provision of computational resources (data, software) via a computer network, rather than from a local computer. Users or clients can submit a task, such as word processing, to the service provider, without actually possessing the software or hardware. In the past, both data and software had to be stored and processed on or near the computer. The development of LAN allowed for a system in which multiple CPUs and storage devices may be organized to increase the performance of the entire system. The principle behind the cloud is that any computer connected to the Internet is connected to the same pool of computing power, applications, and files. Users can store and access personal files such as music, pictures, videos, and bookmarks or games or do word processing on a remote server rather than physically carrying around a storage medium such as a DVD or thumb drive.
cloud computing allows us to keep our pc and all of our mobile devices in sync all the time.We can access all our personal data at anygiven moment,we can organize and collect data from any online source.Social networks, filesharing servers and web accessible software take advantage of resources provided by cloud computing to give a light weight structure for our personal computing needs.cloud services give us a option to protect our data eith accessibility and privacy settings for our accounts, enabling us to store our life on a remote server without having worry about storage space constraints or softwaew inatallitations
